  • Plans and implements programs which recognize the achievements of members of AEC, including but not limited to the Communications Awards.

    • Alice Aimes (Maine)

    • Jeffrey Beirigner (Wisconsin)

  • Solicits and selects winners of the prestigious award given annually at PHCC-NA CONNECT. (Committee comprised of 3-5 previous winners.)

  • Reviews association bylaws on a regular basis and recommends amendments to membership as appropriate.

    • Beth Killen (Tennessee)

  • Researches programs, solicits articles, and is a resource for the members of the AEC. Contributes to educational conferences and events.

  • Oversees the business of the association and makes recommendations to the board and membership as appropriate.

  • Implements surveys which will determine member needs and provide tabulation with recommendations to the Board, plan and implement programs to turn prospects into new members.

  • Solicits volunteers, seeks prospects, qualifies and prepares a slate of nominees for the coming years’ board of directors ballot.

  • Develops scholarships and qualifying criteria. Reviews applicants and makes recommendation to board.
